'A murder of Al Bashir regime

She is a poor Sudanese woman. She is called Awadia Ajbna, from Nubba Mountains in South Western Sudan. She lived in Khartoum the Capital of Sudan. Awadia moved to Khartoum many years ago like a million others from different parts of Sudan, looking for health and education services, jobs, money, a place to live, basic needs and wants and good conditions for life. The life in rural areas in Sudan has become very difficult, nobody can put up with it.

The people in Nuba Mountains, like Awadia, used to ride donkeys and camels, listen to the radio, read newspapers and magazines. They used to eat fresh meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, drink lots of milk and wear pure cotton clothes. Suddenly, they lost everything, the biggest agriculture project in the region was damaged by civil war and a greedy regime which has been ruling the Sudan for 27 years. Now no food, water and electricity. The people cannot do their jobs, the farmers cannot even go to their farms because of a lack of security. The AL Bashir regime intended to damage the Nuba Mountains region and many other parts of Sudan such as the Darfur region, Blue Nile states, Aljazeera state and Eastern states like Kassala and Port Sudan.

Therefore, Awadia came to Khartoum with her family, came to a new world. They had a rental house, but even in Khartoum Awadia could not continue her studies because she could not afford to pay the study fees. This was so harmful to Awadia, she went onto the streets to sell coffee and tea in order to help her family. However, she became aware of her human rights. These difficult situations encouraged her to protest against the AL Bashir regime many times. The intelligence system follows her and gathered lots of information about her and her family. In 2013, there was a big protest in Sudan called the September revolution. police forces killed more than 200 adults in the streets. Once a day, in the evening, the police forces went to Awadia’s house and shot her to death in front of her house in Khartoum.

Awadia’s family reported the accident to the police, after two-year trail, a policeman was found guilty of her murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Therefore, the verdict was suspended and the guilty man was released. The police forces have started to track –chase- Awadia’s family everywhere.

We found out there was a lack of security and living conditions, under Al Bashir’s presidency, where the law is ignored. then the question is, where is the justice?
